Being a Foodie

No only can Italians cook, they can really arrange food..
this is a gelateria in Rome

Pasta in a salumeria in Venice

Grapes and dried figs in an outdoor Dubrovnik market

Lunch in the Campo de Fiori
chicory and anchovie salad

Cones in Rome

Ok, I admit it. I love food. This morning I read in the Mercury News food section a whole article on quiches. The ones Thomas Keller makes. Leek and Roquefort. He has an 80 a week pie habit. I hope to have an 80 pie at one brunch habit, coming to a neighborhood near me. Stay tuned. We're having a Clashing Patterns and Pie Pot Luck.

Soon on HBO, a series on Ruth Reichl, based on her books Garlic and Sapphires, and Comfort Me with Apples. Her antics and desguises as a food critic. Can't wait!

With you behind the camera, food is art. So luscious and gorgeous. Yes, they really do know how to arrange food. Stunning.
