Taj, Agra Fort, Art Marble Palace, moonlit garden

Our group of 8 from Santa Cruz

Agra Fort pavilion

Stone Pattern walkways

Sumptuous gardens with cockscomb perimeters

There is a view of the Taj from here, but so smoggy one can't see it.

Decorated ceilings

Then on to the marble art palace, where the fine inlay work is done by hand.

Tiny pieces of malachite, lapis, carnelian, turquoise, and mother of pearl are all cut and shaped by hand.

Saris on their way to recycling

Sign outside the Moonlit garden
Saying no vulgar public display of affection-they decide what is vulgar!

The view of the Taj Mahal from the garden

Former lotus pond enclosure

I am endlessly fascinated by the methods for transporting goods
