A Vote is a Vote

But is it? A vote by any other name would sound as sweet? Like Chad, does Chad work for you? I'm concerned that my vote doesn't count. I'm concerned that neither does yours, yours or yours, or any of ours. What does our secretary of state, Bruce McPherson have up his sleeve? What has Bruce has been doing with Diebold voting machines? How can we eliminate the machines from our voting process? If our vote doesn't count how can WE have a democracy? Where are the Democrats in all of this? So I'm thinking that this has to be a grass roots uprising. Looks like so does Jim Hightowner. Nobody's gonna do it for us but us. Why aren't we all in the streets? I'm going to start handwriting notes to all my elected officials. They tell me that congess people do not open their mail, for fear there are harmful contents in the envelopes? OK so I'll send a letter without an envelope-just folded paper with a stamp on it. Anyway, I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore! I feel that I must act, and not be apathetic. There is some hope in the air. State Senator, Debra Bowen is working on the Voting/Diebold issue. She has written a letter to McPherson about the Diebold issue. Here's the press release. Another group, Open Voting Consortium is a group to watch and get involved with. I'm on a quest. I hope you'll join me. This is the foundation for all of us. I know this right has been taken from us, and we must get it back. Each of us, in our own way has the power to turn all this around. Let's get moving. Get involved in OPEN VOTING!
