I read the Sunday paper this morning. With enormous sadness and shock, I read that our UCSC Chancellor, Denise Denton jumped to her death in S.F. yesterday. A brilliant scientist, age 46, is now gone. I'm not sure what to say, except my brain is scrambled eggs over this.
In the business section, I read about Silicon Valley, home of the most brilliant Electrical Engineers, going for the gusto building electric sports cars, very high end. They mentioned that George Clooney owns a Tango T600 from Comuter Cars Corp. They are shorter than a motorcycle!
Then on to this film. Who Killed The Electric Car? Check out the trailer.

Denice's memorial service today was lovely and the speakers wonderful. Her partner, Gretchen, spoke so lovingly, so brightly, the only one without notes. Her sisters spoke about the private Denice, the one they grew up with. The recital hall and the media theater overflowed. Lots of tears.
