Wednesday nite was a wonderful treat for me. It was the reception for the Gail Rich Awards. Surrounded by friends, the Arts Community, and my fantastic, gorgeous, supportive, brilliant, loving, great artist in her own right, and amazing (couldn't do it without her) partner, Kim, I received this huge honor.
Lynda Watson introduced with with a lot of love and humor.
The man behind it all, Wallace Baine conducts the evening with such grace, heart and skill. Whatta guy! Thanks to all who made this evening possible, the Cultural Council and the Santa Cruz Sentinel for a wonderful event!
