Humbled by Color

Years ago I took a color theory class from my dear friend and colorist, Beverly Thome in San Francisco. We worked with Color Aid, those beautiful opaque papers and did all kinds of exercises with putting color in context, a la Joseph Albers. The more I work with color, the less I think I know: the more I am humbled. Therefore less is more? Always. Anyway, here is how I resolved the pieces. The purple is the same color on both panels.
